Brandon was punctual, friendly and professional. We were concerned that our sewer line was collapsing. He and his associate quickly opened an access to the sewer line, ran a camera through it while I watched, and were able to reassure me that while old there was no sign of collapse all the way out to the city sewer line. Another company had run a camera and told us our sewer line had collapsed and we would need a repair costing over $20,000 and requiring the removal of a beautiful 40+ year old tree. Grateful plumbing saved us a ton of money, destruction of a beautiful tree and our landscape. Yes, were grateful for their professional service at a reasonable cost!

This is the second time I have used The Grateful Plumber and both experiences have been great! This last time scheduled a toilet install and the response was quick, scheduling quick and easy. Adam arrived promptly in the morning and upon arrival measured the "rough in" for the install and informed me the size toilet I had purchased for the job was a standard 12 inch rough in toilet and the space was an unusual 14 inch rough in. Adam went to a plumbing supplier and bought a toilet to fit the job and at my request used the toilet I had purchased to replace the toilet in a second bathroom that really did need to be replaced. Bottom line The Grateful Plumber does quality work at a fair price, no games, no hassles. Adam and his assistant are easy to work with, courteous and do quality, clean, neat work.

I called the company that installed my water heater in 2010 at 4:30 asking how I could shut the water off as the hot water heater was leaking a lot of water at the bottom. They said a plumber would call. Called back at 5:30 - same answer. When no one had called by 6:00, I called Adam at Grateful plumbing, and he helped me immediately turn the four levers to get the water, gas and power shut off and told me to expect more water which I did - but it was manageable. By this time, I had probably caught and emptied 20 gallons of water. He also gave me the name of a company that could help clean up the water on the carpets. I made an appointment with Adam to install a new water heater. I received a photo via text of the Technician so that I would know who to expect. He called to ask if ok that he came a half hour early which was fine and got the job done in a proficient manner. They were very professional and mindful of my house. I would highly recommend Adam and Grateful Plumbing for your next plumbing needs!

We had a badly clogged sink. The guys with Grateful Plumber came in, diagnosed the problem and took care of it quickly and efficiently.
They are courteous and knowledgable and cleaned up after themselves.

Adam, the owner of Grateful Plumber and the third person I called to solve the situation of water on the floor under my water heater, was the only one of the three plumbers who could solve the problem. The first two plumbers determined that the solution was to be replaced the water heater and to charge me $8500 and $5500 respectively. However, Adam came out and did some simple troubleshooting, which the first two never did, and quickly determined that the water heater was fine and that the actual problem that needed to be fixed was a valve on the side of the water heater. Adam’s final cost for the job: $259. So the first two plumbers, without actually diagnosing the real problem, wanted to charge me $8650 and $5500. I’ve lived in Carmel, Indiana for 2 1/2 years now. This lesson taught me that the majority of plumbing companies are sharks who perhaps are more concerned with how they’re going to pay for all of those expensive billboards they have, instead of how to fix the problem. And when you find a real plumber amidst all those sharks, if you’re smart that’s who you use and that’s who you hang onto. So if the person reading this review is smart, they will learn from my experience and not have to repeat it, they can go directly to the Grateful Plumber.
