Grateful plumber will be the only plumber I call from now on. Twice they have bailed me out. First time from a company wanting to charge me almost 8k for a ball valve, said needed to change while system and relocate meter out side. Grateful plumber came in and simply changes the ball valve, all in $500. This last time I did a drain clearing special, they said they could not do it be cause it was galvanized pipe and was afraid to hurt the pipe and cause a bigger problem. Grateful plumber came out a few hours later and drain is clear. Can not recommend this company enough.

Adam, the owner of Grateful Plumber and the third person I called to solve the situation of water on the floor under my water heater, was the only one of the three plumbers who could solve the problem. The first two plumbers determined that the solution was to be replaced the water heater and to charge me $8500 and $5500 respectively. However, Adam came out and did some simple troubleshooting, which the first two never did, and quickly determined that the water heater was fine and that the actual problem that needed to be fixed was a valve on the side of the water heater. Adam’s final cost for the job: $259. So the first two plumbers, without actually diagnosing the real problem, wanted to charge me $8650 and $5500. I’ve lived in Carmel, Indiana for 2 1/2 years now. This lesson taught me that the majority of plumbing companies are sharks who perhaps are more concerned with how they’re going to pay for all of those expensive billboards they have, instead of how to fix the problem. And when you find a real plumber amidst all those sharks, if you’re smart that’s who you use and that’s who you hang onto. So if the person reading this review is smart, they will learn from my experience and not have to repeat it, they can go directly to the Grateful Plumber.

I am an out of state investor with 11 rental units in Indianapolis for 6 years. Grateful Plumber is the only company I use for all my plumbing needs. They are trustworthy, reliable, and reasonably priced. They always do a great job!

My initial contact was with Adam who was very thorough with discussing the work that needed to be performed and how Grateful Plumbing would handle the work along with the cost. We had great service from Brandon and Matthew from Grateful Plumbing on two jobs concerning a toilet and a kitchen sink faucet repair. They were very efficient and made their work was proper and complete. They were friendly and explained what they were doing and cleaned up upon completion. I will use Grateful Plumbing again a will recommend them to others.
